PrivyX - Private Browser App Reviews

The app. is okay, the separate bookmark from the safari browser is cool. This is a really simple app., the iphone should already have a simple feature like this to lock your web browser. Theres a slight lag time when starting the app. The lag shows the web page you were previously browsing for a split second before prompting for a passcode. I selected the option to clear cookies when exiting the app. but it shows the page I was browsing before when starting the app. again. I noticed if I double click the home button on my iPhone, showing apps. currently running and manually exit out of the app. then it clears the cookies. This app. will not allow me to enter a password on a website that I visit because its a pop-up. Theres no pop-up feature to turn on or off. The same website works fine on safari. Ive only had the app for a few days so these are the few bugs Ive encountered so far.

THere are a few bugs that need to be fixed, once that is done, this will be a lot better,and a lot more worth the money.

Quite a good little browser with the Mobilizer which makes reading websites easier to read on your iPhone ;)

i really like it becasue of the privacy so i can use it so no one would know what im doing and in my history its one of the best browser i have used and i really like it!

Good app. Does what it says. Worth the cost if you need a private browser. Neat that it lets you have a separate set of bookmarks that are still private.

I dont browse the web too much on my phone but its still worthwhile. Kinda like a secret browsing profile. Worthy of a try!

Have been using about a week, and Ive found 2 problems, one big and one minor. The big problem is as others have mentioned . . . when you open the browser, it shows the previously browsed page for about a second before prompting for the password. To me, this defeats the primary purpose if the browser! If they would fix this, Id change rating to 4 stars. The other option I miss from Safari is the ability to tap and hold a link to get additional options such as open in new page, copy, etc.

Privacy!! hahaha... This app shows the last page you were looking at upon opening it!! What a joke!! You cant even import your stored bookmarks.. In need of a drastic update.
